2007 [Junior Season]
The UTPA junior was one of the top performers for the Broncs during his first season... posted a team-high .342 batting average with 54 hits in 158 at-bats to go along with five doubles and one triple... drove in 23 runs while plating 31 runs in 47 games... recorded a .386 slugging percentage and a .441 on-base percentage during his junior season... collected four RBI and four hits, including one run scored against Sam Houston State (Mar. 4)... connected on three hits, including a double and two stolen bases, to go along with three RBI and three runs scored against McNeese (Feb. 11)... recorded three hits, including one double and one stolen base, to go along with two RBI and two runs scored against Stephen F. Austin (Mar. 3)... collected three hits, including a double to go along with one RBI and one run scored versus Northern Colorado (Mar. 18)... connected on four hits, including one walk and one stolen base, to go along with one run scored in four at-bats against North Dakota State (Apr. 1)... posted a .976 fielding percentage in two attempts... committed two errors in 83 chances in the outfield for the Broncs... led the team in stolen bases with (20), walks (27), and runs scored (31)... was selected to the Al-Ogletree Classic All-Tournament team... was a NCAA Division I Weekly Independent recipient... earned 2007 NCAA Division I All-Independent accolades.
2005-06 [UNC-Greensboro]
A two-year member of the UNC-Greensboro baseball program, Gonzalez played in 71 games where he earned a spot in the starting lineup on 39 occasions... collected 28 hits in 133 plate appearances to go along with a .315 on-base percentage during his career with the Spartans... posted a .224 batting average during his sophomore season after recording 13 hits in 58 at-bats to go along with 10 runs scored and a .297 on-base percentage... posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 21 attempts... committed one errors in 44 total chances in the outfield during his two seasons with the Spartans... started 19 games for UNC-Greensboro as a freshman where he finished with a .200 batting average with 15 hits in 75 at-bats... started his first collegiate game against Delaware where he recorded a hit and two stolen bases in the Spartans' 6-5 victory... stole 10 bases during his two seasons with UNC-Greensboro, including seven swipes during his freshman campaign.
Westminster Christian
Gonzalez was selected as a Baseball Factory All-American during his senior season at Westminster Christian... finished his senior season with a .402 batting average where he recorded 33 stolen bases en route to being rated as one of the Top 50 Outfielders by Team One... competed in the Perfect Game All-Star squad following his senior season... earned all-county honors as a senior... was part of a Westminster Christian program that captured the district championship in his final two campaigns... earned seven letters for the Warriors - four in track and field and three in baseball... held the school record in the 400-meter dash at Westminster Christian.

Gonzalez is the son of Rolando and Isabel Gonzalez... born on October 29, 1985... has one sister - Elizabeth... majoring in international business.
