The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis team will look to capture a first round victory against Southeastern Louisiana at the 2008 Southland Conference Tournament in Nacogdoches, TX at 3 p.m.
The Broncs will face the Lions for the second time this season with Southeastern Louisiana pulling away with a 6-1 victory on February 23 in Hammond, LA.
Recording the only point for the Broncs was Marcus Dornauf (East Launceston, Tasmania, Aus/ Scotch Oakburn College Prep) who posted a three-set victory over Medhi Darlis in the number-six spot in the lineup.
The Broncs are coming off a 6-1 setback over Southland Conference foe-University of Texas-San Antonio in San Antonio, TX on Saturday (Apr. 19).
The Broncs enter the SLC Tournament as the number-five seed and will face-off against number-one seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the second round if they record a win over the Lions.
The Southland Conference Tournament consists of teams from University of Texas-San Antonio, UT-Arlington, Nicholls State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Southeastern Louisiana.
